Original Research on Website

Tacoma Historical Society staff and volunteers frequently engage in research projects in support of exhibits, publications, and visitor inquiries. With the launch of our new website in 2018, we are now in the position to begin sharing this data online.
The first such research we have published to the website is as follows:
- Chronology of Confectioners in Tacoma, Washington, first prepared in 2015 for our exhibit, Sweet Success: Candy Connections in the City of Destiny, but now shared online for the first time.
- Chronology of Photographers in Tacoma, Washington - 1872-1972, which is being launched in conjunction with our Spring 2018 exhibit, Shutterbugs!
